Agreed.
Murray needs to work on his second serve and, if the mighty Federer is to win on sunday, Nadal needs to have a debilitating illness!

As so often happens after a brilliant win, Murray seemed flat and had no answer for Nadal's power and court speed.

Federer is a hero in my eyes but I think Nadal will reign supreme this year.
Enjoy your Hops!

Murray maywell be the underdog but don't count him out.
If he gets his gameplan right ( he's done so before & taken Raffa to 5 sets) then he has a very real chance.
Some people have spoken to me about Gasquet being boo'ed by the (very knowledgable ) Wimbledon crowd. Have a look at the French Open next time around - the crowd there are vicious and very partisan and Gasquet has enjoyed being on the flip side of the coin.
The crowd got on his back because, in his desperation, Gasquet started to employ a bit of gamesmanship - an 'extended' toilet break just as the light was fading, rediculous challenges and continuous moaning to the umpire as it was getting late - all delaying tactics.
Fact is, he wanted to come off because he had let a huge lead slip and was losing. For this he was taken to task by the crowd...and because in sport, no-one likes a quitter.
Murray shoud be supported because he earned it on monday evening and because he's British.
He made a stupid comment in yesteryear ( prat !) but has earned my respect. A bit of national pride ? absolutely.
The Olympics are nearly here. If we can't support our own what are we expected to do... cheer on France ? Perish the thought.

Wonder if he'd been visiting his Dad in Wormwood Scrubs or Pentonville?

It was with great delight that I imported loadsa pâté de foie gras on my recent return from France.

To be fair Bemused I don't think it actually dawned on me what had happened until I'd got my beer. It was certainly atypical of everything else I encountered in this wonderful country.

“These two are first”, to which he replied - “Not in this bar buddy”.

I find that appalling, which might surprise some people. I'd have walked out.
